This is in comparison to a sit-inside kayak. A sit-inside kayak is one where the paddler slides into the cockpit of the kayak.I recently purchased an Ascend 10T and I’m very happy with it. I also have two Sun Dolphin Kayaks that are in the same caliber as the Tamarack and there’s a big difference. I haven’t experienced any of the quality issues people talk about. It’s wide and open deck makes it really easy to fish from. .
